Join Part 3 of Talks & Tea at the Gallery with volunteer gallery guides Denise Payne and Tony Thurling to unravel the stories of the Bathurst Female Factory as well as other works in the current exhibition 'The Fragility of Goodness: The Prison on the Landscape and Other Stories' by Elizabeth Day. The project connects closely to Bathurst’s history as part of a network of colonial prison towns established west of the Blue Mountains.
A final guided look behind the works of Elizabeth Day, and the Foyer Exhibition of 'Found' by artist Heather Dunn exploring the thoughts and intent that have shaped the art of these artists. After the talk, stay for a cuppa and homemade morning tea.
This is the last session of Talks and Tea at the Gallery about the current Winter exhibitions.
While the event is free, a small donation to the Gallery at the end of the talk is most welcome.
