2026 PRIMAVERA Auction Art Showing at the Gallery

A preview of auction artworks and experiences by participating artists in Primavera Gala Dinner and Art Auction on 12 September 2026 will be held at the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery. Members of the community are invited to seize this rare opportunity to see works from such a prestigious group of Australian artists all in one place for free in the cultural heart of our region.

The auction includes works by a number of acclaimed Australian artists and proudly features Wiradyuri artist Jessica Ann Leffley among other confirmed participants: Jock Alexander, Lino Alvarez Carrasco, Stephen Hogan, Greg Hyde, Graham Lupp, Euan Macleod, Reg Mombassa, Amanda Penrose-Hart, Rosemary Valadon and Peter Wilson. In addition, acclaimed artist Harrie Fasher is providing the experience of a bronze pour at her studio in Portland, followed by lunch.

Raffle prizes will also be on display with tickets available at the Gallery. For an investment of $10, there is a chance of winning one of the prizes collectively valued at close to $4,000.

BRAGS acknowledges the generous support of Pigments & Palettes Bathurst for framing some of the artworks and providing a voucher for the raffle with other local businesses, including Bird Girl Creations, Bootleg Dining, El Guapo Cantina, Littlebourne Guest House, Mayfield Garden, Old Milltown Police Station B&B, Total Tools, and private donors too numerous to mention, who also provided prizes for our raffle.
