Notice of BRAGS Annual General Meeting 2026

Notice is given for the Annual General Meeting to be held on 26 March 2026, 5pm at the Gallery. Members are encouraged to nominate and be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic committee. To grow our skills as a committee, we are looking for volunteers to take on one of five executive roles or be one of seven general committee members to assist with the many aspects of managing a successful fundraising entity that is BRAGS – the Society of Friends of the Art Gallery. Gallery Rambles

Join Ngurrara cultural leaders, performers and artists from Western Australia as they present the monumental Ngurrara Canvas II for the opening weekend of the 25th Biennale of Sydney. Around 40 Ngurrara artist-claimants created Ngurrara Canvas II in 1997 to support a native title claim over areas of the Great Sandy Desert. Art Workshop Collaboration with T.Arts Gallery

Great News! A recent collaboration with T.Arts Gallery has resulted in BRAGS members receiving a 10% discount on an upcoming mosaic art workshop with artist Karin Smith to be held at T.Arts Gallery. Further discussions will be held with the T.Arts Gallery to identify workshops that are of interest to our members. These could be held in the second half of 2026. Summer Cocktails and Raffle Results

Good atmosphere, good food, and good company. That was how the Summer Cocktails event was described by many who attended. Uplifted by the sounds of Gwenda Davies' harp, our Society's first event of the year hosted sixty-five members and friends at Norma Joan Bar and Eatery. 2026 - A NEW YEAR FOR US

This year started refreshed and reinvigorated with endless possibilities to help our Art Gallery grow. Bathurst Regional Art Gallery Society (BRAGS) invites the community to its first fundraiser of 2026. Enjoy a summer’s evening with a welcome drink, canapés, and live music with friends of the Gallery.
