THE YEAR IN REVIEW

How quickly this year is nearing the Festive Season.

A suitable time to reflect on what has been a very busy and productive fundraising year for BRAGS, that:

• Saw us catering for all five exhibitions openings at the Art Gallery plus the Tina Havelock Stevens Performance Trail;
• Transformed our membership database into one that supports our new website, event management including ticketing, improved access for members to connect through their member app to renew their membership, register and pay for events, and latest news;
• Revitalised our social media presence through Facebook;
• Ran The Story of Bathurst Art Competition in collaboration with Bathurst Heritage Matters;
• Delivered the highly successful fundraiser Primavera Gala Event and Art Auction;
• Provided funding for the Art Gallery’s 2026 education programs: The Uncooperative Bathurst Youth Program in collaboration with Cementa Kandos, and Aboriginal Art Education Workshops with Wiradyuri Elders;
• Formed collaborations with local businesses such as Bathurst Tours to deliver benefits to members.

All this work could not have happened without the enthusiasm and dedication of your committee, artists, businesses, and your support to help the Gallery grow.
