Our Society is pleased by the commitment from local businesses and artists to support our major fundraiser, the PRIMAVERA Gala Dinner and Art Auction on Saturday, September 12.

Joining foundation sponsors Bathurst Tours, BoxGrove Country Retreat, Elders Emms Mooney, and Littlebourne Guest House, are Bootleg Dining, El Guapo Cantina, Eternity Blooms Co. Florals, Loan Market Ruth Crampton, Mayfield Garden, Old Milltown Police Station B&B, Pigments & Palettes, Total Tools, musicians, and private donors too numerous to mention.

The auction includes works by a number of acclaimed Australian artists and proudly features Wiradyuri artist Jessica Leffley among other confirmed participants: Jock Alexander, Lino Alvarez Carrasco, Stephen Hogan, Greg Hyde, Graham Lupp, Euan Macleod, Reg Mombassa, Amanda Penrose-Hart, Rosemary Valadon and Peter Wilson. In addition, acclaimed artist Harrie Fasher is providing the experience of a bronze pour at her studio in Portland, followed by lunch.

We are grateful for their support. 

The Society brings together people who share a common goal – to celebrate culture and the arts in our community through our support of the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery.

This year, all funds raised from the 2026 Primavera event will help towards the conservation of artworks in our collection, as well as special youth and community programs conducted by the Gallery, and funding the planning stage for a Society Art Fair as a major project to support our artists.
