During the Primavera Auction Art Showing at the Gallery, there is an opportunity to check out the Primavera raffle prizes so generously donated by local businesses and private donors. With a collective value approaching $4,000, the Society is grateful to our local business community. For a ticket price of $10, you could walk away with a prize valued anywhere between $75 and $750. Salon des Refusés – The Alternative Archibald & Wynne Exhibition 9 May – 26 July 2026 S H Ervin Gallery, Sydney is showcasing a curated selection of outstanding works not included in the official Archibald and Wynne Prize exhibitions. This unique exhibition offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience an alternative perspective on some of Australia’s most prestigious art prizes. At the opening of Rewritten Ground, the inaugural exhibition of Forming Futures program at Cowra Regional Art Gallery, we celebrated works of Central West artists under 40 years. Artists Rachel Pinel, Joel Tonks, and Kendelle Watts work for BRAG at front-of-house, installing or in hospitality at our Gallery's exhibition openings. The Society is thrilled to discover that Portland-based sculptor Harrie Fasher and Napoleon Reef painter Nicola Mason have both secured coveted finalist spots in the Wynne Prize, part of the nationally celebrated Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prizes presented by the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Harrie Fasher was a contributing artist to our inaugural Primavera Art Auction with her sculpture ‘Abstraction Eq3/full stride’ that raised funds for our Art Gallery.
